What the receptionist does on a call

It answers, takes the message and makes no promises for you.

  • It starts by telling the caller they are speaking with an AI assistant, that the call is recorded and transcribed so your team can follow up, and that staying on the line means they consent.
  • It asks for the caller’s full name, the best callback number, what they are calling about in their own words, a good time to call back and their email, one question at a time.
  • Before it closes, it reads back the name, the callback number and, when given, the email.
  • Every caller leaves a message, whether a customer, someone who wants to be one, a supplier, a sales call or anyone else.
  • Anyone who is hurt or in danger right now is told to call 911, or 988 if it is about harming themselves.
  • It does not transfer calls, ever.
  • It never gives advice of any kind, quotes a price, books, confirms or cancels anything, or promises what your team will do or when. That is left for your team at the callback.
  • This line is English only, so a caller who cannot continue in English is told so.

The whole call, step by step

What it does

A receptionist that takes the message and stops there.

The whole message

The caller’s name and callback number, why they are calling in their words, a good time to call back and their email. Read back, and emailed to you.

Every caller leaves a message

A customer, a supplier, a sales call or anyone else. If someone says it is urgent, the message is marked urgent. Anyone in danger gets the 911 line instead.

No promises made for you

No advice, no price, no booking and no word on what your team will do or when. Whatever needs your word is left for your team to go through when they call back.

Pricing

One plan. Every answered call included.

One plan, $149 a month, every answered call included. Fair use is a guide of up to 100 answered calls a month for one firm’s own line, not a cap: nothing meters your calls or cuts them off at that number. If you are consistently and substantially above it, we may get in touch to agree terms that fit that volume, and if we cannot agree any, the Terms of Service let either side end the plan.

Intake Gateway
